Man Killed in Oxnard Pedestrian Crash at Elm and C Streets
Oxnard, California (November 26, 2020) – An 80-year-old Oxnard man was killed in a pedestrian accident at an intersection in Oxnard on Tuesday night.
The Oxnard police said the accident occurred at around 6:40 p.m. in the area of Elm and C Streets.
A 61-year-old woman was driving a 1997 Honda Accord northbound on C Street when he hit the man who was walking in the street.
The driver stopped at the scene and contacted the authorities.
The paramedics arrived at the scene and transported him to Ventura County Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
The name of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
Neither alcohol nor drugs were suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
