Jaimie Singleton Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Ming Avenue in Bakersfield
Bakersfield, California (November 27, 2020) – Jaimie Lynn Singleton, 39, has been identified as the woman who was killed in a pedestrian accident that occurred last week Friday night in Bakersfield.
The fatal pedestrian accident was reported at around 7:30 p.m. November 20, in the 4700 block of Ming Avenue.
The Bakersfield Police Department said Singleton was walking on the road outside of a crosswalk when a pickup truck struck her.
Singleton, a resident of Bakersfield, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
Impairment and speed did not appear to be a factor in the accident.
Additional details about the accident were not provided.
The accident remains under investigation.
