Girl, 4, Struck and Seriously Hurt by Hit-And-Run Driver on Colonia Road and Bonita Street
Oxnard, California (November 16, 2020) – A 4-year-old girl was struck and seriously hurt by an alleged hit-and-run driver at an intersection in Oxnard Sunday morning.
Officials responded to the major injury crash site just after 9:00 a.m. in the area of Colonia Road and Bonita Street.
As per the Oxnard Police Department report, the girl was struck by a black Ford Expedition while walking with her mother and two siblings at the Oxnard intersection in unclear circumstances.
Meanwhile, the Ford operator, a Hispanic man in his 30s, escaped after dragging the kid 50-feet away from the crash site.
Paramedics rushed the victim to the hospital for treatment of major injuries.
More details about the accident will be released immediately after the completion of the investigation.
