Edith Honer Identified as Person Killed in Murrieta Car Accident on Interstate 15
Murrieta, California (November 15, 2020) – Edith Mary Honer, 88, of Murrieta, has been identified as the victim who was killed in a Saturday morning traffic accident on Interstate 15
in Murrieta, according to the Riverside County Sheriff coroner’s office.
The deadly two-vehicle accident occurred at about 9:44 a.m., on November 14, on the northbound Murrieta Hot Springs Road on-ramp.
According to the California Highway Patrol, two vehicles collided on the roadway. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.
As a result of the crash impact, Honer was ejected onto the roadway, the officials said.
Honer was declared dead at the crash site at 9:54 a.m.
The on-ramp was closed for about three hours due to the mishap.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
An investigation into the collision is ongoing.
