Devonte Tyler ID’d as 27-Year-Old Man Killed in Lancaster Pedestrian Accident at Avenue J-8 and Sierra Highway

Lancaster, California (November 26, 2020) – Devonte Tyler, 27, has been identified as the man who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Sunday night in Lancaster, according to the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.

The deadly pedestrian accident happened at the intersection of Avenue J-8 and Sierra Highway shortly before 9:40 p.m., November 22.

According to the police, Tyler allegedly entered the highway at Avenue J-8 and was struck by a mid-size sedan driven by a female party south on Sierra Highway.

Sadly, Tyler was pronounced dead at the scene.

The involved driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.

Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
