Bicyclist Hit and Killed by Vehicle on Davis Street at Interstate Highway 880 in San Leandro

San Leandro, California (November 26, 2020) – One person died at the scene after being involved in a bicycle accident at an intersection in San Leandro Tuesday morning, a local news source reported.

The San Leandro police responded to the fatal crash site in the morning hours on Davis Street at Interstate Highway 880.

It was not immediately established how a van struck a bicyclist in the westbound lanes of the Street. 

Due to the impact, the bicyclist was thrown into the ground and was hit by two other automobiles.

Sadly, the unidentified victim died in the accident.

The cause of the deadly crash is underway.
