Authorities Investigating Fatal Baldwin Park Hit-and-run Pedestrian Accident on Puente Avenue

Baldwin Park, California (November 13, 2020) – Authorities are investigating the cause of a deadly hit-and-run pedestrian accident that happened early Thursday morning in Baldwin Park.

The fatal collision occurred in the 1800 block of Puente Avenue, between Francisquito Avenue and the San Bernardino (10) Freeway, at around 1:45 a.m.

A woman, who was pushing a shopping cart across the street, was struck by a possibly driving a dark vehicle for unknown reasons.

Meanwhile, the involved driver failed to stop following the wreck and escaped the scene.

Sadly, the victim was declared dead at the scene.

The suspect remains at large. Anyone with details regarding the wreck is asked to call the Baldwin Park Police Department at 626-960-1955.
