Oceanside Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 5 Kills Joshua Leasure
Oceanside, California (February 2, 2020) – Authorities have identified the rider who died on January 16 following a motorcycle collision in Oceanside as 20-year-old Joshua Brandon Leasure.
Officials responded to the deadly crash site at about 4:02 p.m. on I-5.
The accident happened when a motorcycle operated by Leasure northbound on the freeway, at a high rate of speed, veered off and crossed the median into the southbound lanes for unknown reasons. Leasure then lost control and slammed into a fence.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
