26-Year-Old Shane James Dies after Motorcycle and Forklift Crash in Thermal
Thermal, California (January 26, 2021) – The Riverside County Coroner’s office has identified the Wildomar man who died following a motorcycle accident Sunday evening in Thermal as 26-year-old Shane James.
The California Highway Patrol said the fatal motorcycle accident happened in the 85-500 block of Airport Boulevard shortly after 6 p.m.
James as riding a dirt bike on the highway when, unknown reasons, he collided with a forklift.
James died in the accident at 6:40 p.m.
There was no other victim hurt, including the forklift motorist.
An investigation into the deadly crash is underway.
